Sticks to you like glue…. but dehydrating.
I adore watching YouTube videos of makeup collections, hauls and favourite makeup products. So when I watched a YouTube video of a woman, around my age, say this was the best foundation she had found for oily skin, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it, as my foundation tends to slide off around my nose. I now wished I hadn’t bothered.
Firstly, even though I bought the lightest shade available, it was still to dark for me, and I mean way to dark. Though my skin is fairly pale anyway, I would at least have thought I could have blended it out on my neck, but not even that would have been wearable.
Although I admit my skin is a combination of a oily T-zone, dry forehead and normal for the rest, this foundation didn’t even appeal to me even on my oily T-zone. It was extremely drying. It made my skin feel like it was being stretched and was having all the moisture taken away. This foundation became so uncomfortable after about 20 minutes I had to remove it, I couldn’t even try to wear it for a day at home for a complete review, it was too uncomfortable.
The one and only thing I could say about this foundation is that it sticks. When I tried to remove it with my usual makeup wipes I had to literally scrub my face with them. Usually gently circular motions and wiping across would get my foundation off. But this was as if someone had mixed it with glue. So I would say if you have extremely oily skin all over, and want a foundation that will last from when you do your makeup in the morning til after you come home at 3am from a night out, then this could be for you. Warning: Not for pale faces. 🙂
